Ashlyn's Mission Memories

What's up everyone! This week was crazy. Let's get into it! On Monday we had dinner with The Esqueda's. They are the best and they wanted to fees us all one last time because they went to Utah and transfers are this week. We had tacos and it was SO good!! On Tuesday it was crazyyyy. It snowed all day. We got almost 8 inches which us the record since it snowed 3 inches in the 1890's. When I went here to Theodore I thought I would never get snow. But we were snowed in for 2 and a half days. We did lots of sim work and played some games to stay sane. It was so fun tho to be in snow and I didn't realize how much I missed snow. It felt like home.  Wednesday we were stuck inside too. Luckily I built a snowman and the sunset was pretty. You would think with everyone being stuck inside they would have time to answer calls but that wasn't the case too often lol. Well, my bad I didn't write last week. I really didn't have much to report and had no pictures. I also was sick on Monday so I was not feeling it hahah.  This is all I have to report from last week. Had an awesome lunch with a member Sister Champagne. It was so fun and delicious. We also filmed for our social media page and then got Chic-fil-a! Then we also got Zaxby's Chicken Bacon Ranch Loaded Fries. That was spectacular! I had been talking about it my whole mish and so finally having it was wonderful. So thankful for Lucie introducing that one to me. Wow pretty much looks like all we do here is eat. Lastly, we played some fun games on p-day. But that night I started to really feel like I was getting real sick.  So this was me Tuesday at the end of the day. I was perishing. Probably my hardest day so far. We had district council and then we got Panda and Boba. We were rushing all day to get where we needed to and to all our lessons. We visited some members and then Sister...

I bet that title got all y'all excited to read this week. Don't worry we are fine people are so wild. Pretty much every month we have something that happens that is wild but it keeps life fun. This week we had to drop our friend Janet which was so sad but it's okay she will be baptized one day!! We haven't been in contact with some of our friends but Allison and Jerry came to church this week which was awesome! Jerry is so excited to be baptized and he was on vacation and found a church to go to! We are teaching a guy named Camryn and he's so cool. We also met this lady named Shawn and she's sooo awesome! She's on a faith journey and just trying to learn more about churches. She's so sweet. We have a really amazing area and we are constantly finding people who are interested which is not normal for many places especially in the south so I feel blessed to be here.
