We have joy

What's up everyone! This week was crazy. Let's get into it!
On Monday we had dinner with The Esqueda's. They are the best and they wanted to fees us all one last time because they went to Utah and transfers are this week. We had tacos and it was SO good!!





On Tuesday it was crazyyyy. It snowed all day. We got almost 8 inches which us the record since it snowed 3 inches in the 1890's. When I went here to Theodore I thought I would never get snow. But we were snowed in for 2 and a half days. We did lots of sim work and played some games to stay sane. It was so fun tho to be in snow and I didn't realize how much I missed snow. It felt like home. 






Wednesday we were stuck inside too.



Luckily I built a snowman and the sunset was pretty. You would think with everyone being stuck inside they would have time to answer calls but that wasn't the case too often lol.



Wednesday we could finally go out after it got warm and before it was dark and cold so we had a few good hours of normal work. Got some foo's and we found 2 new people! It was awesome! We found a lady named Tabitha who had the cutest kids and she wants to come to church too! Then we found a guy who sent a referral in a while ago but never could get in contact with missionaries so we stopped by and set up a lesson for Saturday!!


This is our friend Liam. He is the best! We love teaching him so so much! He is hoping to be baptized soon too. He makes us laugh so much!

We had Sam's Super Burger with Gilly the next day and that was so fun! He is the best. Well I feel like I say that about everyone but it's true. I have grown to love all these people so muchhh. We found 2 other people as well this day so hopefully that progresses.



 

Sunday had 2 blessings we went to with the Elders and then a dinner with them as well. We call ourselves the TheoMutantNinjaTurtles and that will probably be coming to and end this week with transfers... :( 


I really don't have much to report friend wise. With the snow I feel like not much happened. I will try to do better next week but I'm running out of time to write this. This week was harder and just longer mentally with being inside and stressed a little about transfers but we also have so much joy! I have really learned that there is joy in every day and we can also be that joy for someone else. Smiling at someone or saying hi can be what someone needs that day. The more we learn to recognize God's hand in our life the more we will see Him. I love y'all! Email me! Have a great week!!

Well, my bad I didn't write last week. I really didn't have much to report and had no pictures. I also was sick on Monday so I was not feeling it hahah.  This is all I have to report from last week. Had an awesome lunch with a member Sister Champagne. It was so fun and delicious. We also filmed for our social media page and then got Chic-fil-a! Then we also got Zaxby's Chicken Bacon Ranch Loaded Fries. That was spectacular! I had been talking about it my whole mish and so finally having it was wonderful. So thankful for Lucie introducing that one to me. Wow pretty much looks like all we do here is eat. Lastly, we played some fun games on p-day. But that night I started to really feel like I was getting real sick.  So this was me Tuesday at the end of the day. I was perishing. Probably my hardest day so far. We're back

Okay it's been a while since I've written one of these. My bad. Lots has happened tho! We had zone conference and got a new mission president!! Oh my I love them so much. They are an answer to all of my prayers with the revelation they have for this mission already. They are SO FUN!!! We had a meet and greet with them and it was awesome. They are young and so cool. So that's pretty exciting. Zone conference was good. We said bye to the Chibota's which was sad. We will miss them too!  Lowkey these past weeks have been pretty hard but I've learned to rely on Heavenly Father more than I ever have. I had only Him to pray and talk to and sometimes I would just sit there with Him and I could feel that I was loved. Some days I didn't know how I could get through the long day but I prayed in my head and I know He gives us strength. I also appreciate every one of you who sends prayers to missionaries. Exchanges!!

This week was pretty good. We had 5 of our Haitian friends come to church!! They drove 40 minutes to get there!! We put 2 people on baptismal date and we had a lot of good lessons. We have been finding a lot and that has been helpful! Our new mission president is changing a lot of things and it is so good! We now can use our apartment gyms and we are all going on a 3 week social media fast. This next week is transfers and I'm so scared haha. I am curious to see what he will do and if he switches things up.  We had exchanges this week and I got to see my best friend Sister Ady!! ❤️👯🏼‍♀️ Yayayayay!! I love her and it brought me so much joy. I am so lucky with the friends God has blessed me with from serving a mission. I've met some lifelong friends. Sister Ady is leaving so it was our last exchange ever. Next time we are together we will be partying it up in good ole Utah.
