Ashlyn's Mission Memories

What's up!! This week I got transferred from blessed Theodore to Montgomery!! Only one zone up so I will see my friend in Mobile zone again! Also Sister Ady is my Stl and I'm sooo excited about that!!! Saying bye to the people in Theodore was so so sad and I was sad to leave Sister Chidester. But it felt right and I knew it was time. Montgomery is a lot different than Theodore and it's a lot nicer. The ward is really big and the families here are awesome!! We are teaching some Haitian people so I'm now learning Haitian Creole lol. Never thought I would be doing that. I can start a prayer so we are having progress hahah. They are the sweetest people ever though and it's been cool to teach them. It's definitely weird to adjust to a new place but I think it will be good.  Sister Lewis who is now home ❤️  Had our last district pday 😔   Then transfer night... I found out I was leaving. The rest are staying so I know they will take good care of that town :) ...

What's upppp. I hit my 6 months today which is actually crazy. Time has FLOWN by. This week was pretty good! It went by fast but don't really remember too many crazy things that happened. Jesse who is getting baptized next month has come to church every week! He's so awesome and he loves to ramble hahah so the lessons can be everywhere. We also had a lesson with two ladies this week which wasn't really going anywhere and was a lot. But we got to visit a lot of members this week which was so nice.  We made a super special perfect cake. It's an exact replica of our bestie Gilly. He was baptized a year ago! So that is awesome!!  Got some yummm pizza with the awesome district. It's so fun to be a sister and swap clothes all the time lol Alabama representing the family name ✊️ This is Sister Mitchell. Hey! This week we had a super cool friend named Paul do a church tour. He's so solid and seems really interested and awesome!! We are excited about him! Jesse came to church again!! And he is progressing towards baptism!! And then the Stls were on an exchange and found us an awesome family! We hope to teach them again! This week was pretty fast and good. Here's a recap!  You know I always love a good circle k drink. We got Sam's Super Burger which is sooo good. And it's been so warm lately so it's felt like summer! We went on a walk to our next house and thought it would be short cause it said it was a one minute drive away. It was not short hahah it was like 10 minutes both ways but it was awesome and we talked to lots of people who wweren't fond of us lol.  We were in the veryy bottom and stopped at this oyster shell beach.
