Conference!!

Hey! This week we had a super cool friend named Paul do a church tour. He's so solid and seems really interested and awesome!! We are excited about him! Jesse came to church again!! And he is progressing towards baptism!! And then the Stls were on an exchange and found us an awesome family! We hope to teach them again! This week was pretty fast and good. Here's a recap!

We got Sam's Super Burger which is sooo good. And it's been so warm lately so it's felt like summer!


We went on a walk to our next house and thought it would be short cause it said it was a one minute drive away. It was not short hahah it was like 10 minutes both ways but it was awesome and we talked to lots of people who wweren't fond of us lol. 





We were in the veryy bottom and stopped at this oyster shell beach. It is so humid already. I'm scared for the summer hahah.


This weekend was conference!! It was so fun! We invited lots of people to watch it and that was cool to testify so often of a modern day prophet. We really are so lucky to have guidance and help in this world!

We did service for the Esqueda's and he got us SO much food for conference. It brought me so much peace to be able to sit this weekend and listen to the talks. They were so good.

Then we went to a members house named Brother Jensen. His garage was sooo cool and he fed us some yummy food!! The rain was pouring and so the internet would go out sometimes but stopped for the prophets talk and we found out later we had all prayed for that. So that was a cool miracle.

Then we had to go to the stake center cause it was raining sooo hard and there were flash flood warnings. It was crazy. We were driving through some flooded roads hahah. And the lightning was crazy.


Anyways, I have noticed how much the adversary works even as a missionary. He is the one who puts doubts in our heads and makes us feel like we don't know enough or aren't good enough. But as I've prayed I've felt God's love for me. During conference we were invited to ask Heavenly Father what Jesus Christ would say to Him about us. And I did that and it was powerful. Jesus Christ truly is all our our friends. "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." We are His friends. He is our advocate. I invite y'all to say this prayer and also listen and you can feel His love. I love y'all so much! I'm sorry for not getting back to any of you!! Have a great week!!

Well, my bad I didn't write last week. I really didn't have much to report and had no pictures. I also was sick on Monday so I was not feeling it hahah.  This is all I have to report from last week. Had an awesome lunch with a member Sister Champagne. It was so fun and delicious. We also filmed for our social media page and then got Chic-fil-a! Then we also got Zaxby's Chicken Bacon Ranch Loaded Fries. That was spectacular! I had been talking about it my whole mish and so finally having it was wonderful. So thankful for Lucie introducing that one to me. Wow pretty much looks like all we do here is eat. Lastly, we played some fun games on p-day. But that night I started to really feel like I was getting real sick.  So this was me Tuesday at the end of the day. I was perishing. Probably my hardest day so far. We're back

Okay it's been a while since I've written one of these. My bad. Lots has happened tho! We had zone conference and got a new mission president!! Oh my I love them so much. They are an answer to all of my prayers with the revelation they have for this mission already. They are SO FUN!!! We had a meet and greet with them and it was awesome. They are young and so cool. So that's pretty exciting. Zone conference was good. We said bye to the Chibota's which was sad. We will miss them too!  Lowkey these past weeks have been pretty hard but I've learned to rely on Heavenly Father more than I ever have. I had only Him to pray and talk to and sometimes I would just sit there with Him and I could feel that I was loved. Some days I didn't know how I could get through the long day but I prayed in my head and I know He gives us strength. I also appreciate every one of you who sends prayers to missionaries. Exchanges!!

This week was pretty good. We had 5 of our Haitian friends come to church!! They drove 40 minutes to get there!! We put 2 people on baptismal date and we had a lot of good lessons. We have been finding a lot and that has been helpful! Our new mission president is changing a lot of things and it is so good! We now can use our apartment gyms and we are all going on a 3 week social media fast. This next week is transfers and I'm so scared haha. I am curious to see what he will do and if he switches things up.  We had exchanges this week and I got to see my best friend Sister Ady!! ❤️👯🏼‍♀️ Yayayayay!! I love her and it brought me so much joy. I am so lucky with the friends God has blessed me with from serving a mission. I've met some lifelong friends. Sister Ady is leaving so it was our last exchange ever. Next time we are together we will be partying it up in good ole Utah.
