"pioneer children sang as they knocked and knocked and knocked and knocked..."

Well another week down. Time doesn't exist. The week went by fast but wow the days were sometimes so slow. Since we opened an area and don't have many people to teach we do finding all day. Some of our favorite places are Circle K 😍, Walmart, and knocking homes/apartments. It's a bit toasty but probably will get a little tan because I got sunburnt the past two days. So that's a good plus. Or I'll just be red. Either way fun stuff. We did find a few people to teach this week!!

We met a guy named Alexander and he is so cool! The young people are lowkey dope. They are a lot more receptive and willing to learn and change. We taught him and he said things just made sense. He always wondered and thought that there must be some sort of record from the other side of the world when the Bible was written. He read something we gave him and he just said it all made sense. He came to church on Sunday too!! He felt the spirit so strong and that was so cool to see. 

We found some other cool people we will see how much they actually want to learn haha. It's been some long and hot days which sometimes can be so hard to make yourself talk to people who probs will reject us haha. But every once in a while people need what we have to say and that makes it worth it. Unfortunately we have to talk to all the people kind or mean to find em lol. But it's building character 💪 It's also so fun to be able to come home and hang out with Sister Hunt and Sister Hurst. We have a good time here. The district is BFF's too haha. 

Even with how hard it is sometimes it is cool to see the joy that Jesus Christ brings people. I love that most people in the south want to talk about him and they share their testimonies. It's really cool. I also feel my testimony being strengthened every day of the things I know to be true. The gospel of Jesus Christ truly is such a blessing and knowing that God has a plan for us is so cool. I love all of you and hope you have a blessed week!!

Well, my bad I didn't write last week. I really didn't have much to report and had no pictures. I also was sick on Monday so I was not feeling it hahah.  This is all I have to report from last week. Had an awesome lunch with a member Sister Champagne. It was so fun and delicious. We also filmed for our social media page and then got Chic-fil-a! Then we also got Zaxby's Chicken Bacon Ranch Loaded Fries. That was spectacular! I had been talking about it my whole mish and so finally having it was wonderful. So thankful for Lucie introducing that one to me. Wow pretty much looks like all we do here is eat. Lastly, we played some fun games on p-day. But that night I started to really feel like I was getting real sick.  So this was me Tuesday at the end of the day. I was perishing. Probably my hardest day so far. We're back

Okay it's been a while since I've written one of these. My bad. Lots has happened tho! We had zone conference and got a new mission president!! Oh my I love them so much. They are an answer to all of my prayers with the revelation they have for this mission already. They are SO FUN!!! We had a meet and greet with them and it was awesome. They are young and so cool. So that's pretty exciting. Zone conference was good. We said bye to the Chibota's which was sad. We will miss them too!  Lowkey these past weeks have been pretty hard but I've learned to rely on Heavenly Father more than I ever have. I had only Him to pray and talk to and sometimes I would just sit there with Him and I could feel that I was loved. Some days I didn't know how I could get through the long day but I prayed in my head and I know He gives us strength. I also appreciate every one of you who sends prayers to missionaries. Exchanges!!

This week was pretty good. We had 5 of our Haitian friends come to church!! They drove 40 minutes to get there!! We put 2 people on baptismal date and we had a lot of good lessons. We have been finding a lot and that has been helpful! Our new mission president is changing a lot of things and it is so good! We now can use our apartment gyms and we are all going on a 3 week social media fast. This next week is transfers and I'm so scared haha. I am curious to see what he will do and if he switches things up.  We had exchanges this week and I got to see my best friend Sister Ady!! ❤️👯🏼‍♀️ Yayayayay!! I love her and it brought me so much joy. I am so lucky with the friends God has blessed me with from serving a mission. I've met some lifelong friends. Sister Ady is leaving so it was our last exchange ever. Next time we are together we will be partying it up in good ole Utah.
