In Da Hood Again

What's up ladies and gentlemen. This week went by so fast but also what we did on Monday feels like ages ago. Time isn't real on the mission. Let's get into it!

On Monday we went to Dauphin Island which was SO fun! We got to hang out on the beach with the district and it was so fire. Really made me want to swim in the ocean tho.
Tuesday was such a busy day. We moved, had district council, and had exchanges. But our new apartment is sooo nice. We are hoping we didn't bring too many cockroaches with us. But we have our own bathrooms now and another room! Feeling real blessed 🙌🏼

Elder Ostler and Elder Mouser. We ward share with them and it's a party for sure. They got these sweet sweaters and matched with each other!

Exchanges were good, I learned a lot and there was a lot of success. We met a part member family though and their son wants to be taught and get baptized! It's so exciting! Cried tears of joy when I was reunited with Sister Hunt tho. 🙏

Thanksgivinggggg!!! This was such a fire day. We got to go to the Bush's for breakfast and they have pie for breakfast. It was so yummy and so fun! Their famiky is so fun to be around and the pies were sooo good.

We then went to the hospital with the elders so they could give a blessing. That was a cool experience and we also talked to the front desk guy for a while.

We met these guys who were high and offered us a blunt and it was the funniest contact we've had so far. It was a party.

Next we had dinner at the Odom's house. It was SO fancy. The Bush's and our friend Gilly were there. We tried fried gizzards and well... that was an experience. Not a fan at all.

The next night we had the craziest experience ever and let's just say we will be strapped from now on. People be wilddd. But we have the spirit and truly are being protected here it's amazing.

We had lunch the next day with our friend Gilly and that made everything better. They have a place called foosackleys and it's pretty much a knockoff cane's. Pretty good.

Then we had Ember's baptism!! She is the sweetest and it was such a good day. The spirit spirit so strong at baptisms. I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY!

We had lots of great contacts this week and we are so busy but I genuinely love it. Some days are hard but it's still the best thing I could be doing right now in my life. This week I studied more about the atonement this week and studied Jeffery R. Hollands talk called Where Justice, Love, and Mercy Meet. It is so good. It is powerful and truly testifies how much we are loved by Jesus Christ. His hand is always reaching out for us. He will not let us fall. I love this gospel and I love being a missionary even though it's so hard sometimes. I love y'all pls message me I want to hear from you!!
