Good Ole p-town

Hey guysss! I'm in the provo MTC! Back in p-town! 😃 Sorry I didn't write an email last week I just didn't have much to update on and also ran out of time. Also sorry y'all this is gonna pretty much be a photo dump with a few words cause that's the only way I will probably write emails cause I hate writing a lot hahah.

Here is the send off crew. Minus my mom and dad on facetime in Europe. Saying goodbye was horrible but that's okay the rest of the day you don't have time to think about it cause they keep you busy.

Here's all the girls in our district first day! They are so sweet and we have so much fun here. It's so sad we are leaving each other in a few days! We are always laughing and joking and it makes the days so much better.

They set up Christmas lights here and it's so cute at night!

Me and the girls on p-day! We had our p-day on Thursday which was kind of unfortunate because we arrived Wednesday and then had nothing on Thursday so it made the week seem really long with all the classes and no break.

We love taking mirror pics here so expect a few more lol.

My sweet comp Sister Huber. She is so pure and it's been so fun to have her at the MTC! We laugh so much together but also lock in for comp study and do some fire planning 🙏

This is Elder Talamantes and he knows four languages so he's been teaching us a little Spanish and French. It's so fun and I'm horrible at it and I sound really white as he says but we're working on it.

Elder Hirst from the Seventy came to visit our class!! He spoke last conference and he's doing a devotional in a few weeks here. It was soon cool having him talk to our class personally. You could feel the spirit so strong and he testified about how much God loves us and gave us such good advice. It was such a special experience, my miracle for that day.

On the way to the gym but fun fact ¾ of us don't actually workout that hard but we walk and debrief and that's just as important as a hard exercise in my opinion

Here was our girl dinner one of the nights we pretty much only ate the treats and fries. The food here is below mid but that's okay we persevere. I'm surviving off of apple juice.

True.

Me and my comp were wearing these outfits and everyone said we looked like the sisters on Princess and the Pauper. So we had to get a pic.

Mission life be like:

This day was rough and we had a practice teaching appointment about an hour after this so we had to lock in. But luckily we killed the lesson so that brought our spirits up.

It is so pretty here right now and I'm gonna miss the Utah mountains so much! Really taking it all in before I leave on Tuesday!! Also our day to leave is now Tuesday instead of Wednesday and our other girls leave Monday so that will be crazy.

We got to go to the Timp temple which was so good and such a good break from the classes all day. Here's my whole district too. They are all so fun and crazy.

We have had so many classes and a lot with combined districts. So. Many. Role-plays. That's one thing that makes me excited to go to Bama because I'm getting a little tired of doing those hahah. But it's okay. I can see the benefit of doing them.

Anyways, this week was really good and I can see that I've grown so much already. There are definitely days that are harder than others but overall I'm so happy. There is no other time where I could be doing this and I can see how special this gospel is and the truth that it can bring as I live the gospel as well. We do devotional reviews after every devotional and it's so cool to see everyone's perspectives on what is taught. We had a devotional with David L. Buckner from the Seventy and his message was so good too. He talked about how if something doesn't make sense or you aren't receiving an answer to pray for peace and guidance until that answer can come. Pray for angels to be with you and to have peace through the struggles. God loves you no less when you struggle then when you triumph. He is there for you always, we just need to turn to him. Another thing that Elder Hirst shared is that we only need to be 1% adequate and God will work with us to increase the 99%. Be happy with your progress but not satisfied. God is good guys and if you don't know that yet pray to him and ask him to allow you to feel his love for you. He will answer you. He wants to talk to you. Anyways this email feels wayyyy too long and all over the place so my bad. Love you guys and I love hearing from you all!
