Mob Town 🔥

What's up y'all!! Another week down. This was the fastest week of my life. Let's get into it.

Then Sister Hunt and I explored the city and saw so much cute Christmas stuff! It was a sweet town. 

"Heyo! My name is Elder Ostler and Sister  Harmon said I can say something in her email. Theodore Alabama is so blessed! Sister Harmon and her trainer Sister Hunt are actually killing it! Elphaba and Glinda vibes. And of course we got some hot chocolate cause it's cold here. Even tho it's 50⁰ the humidity makes it so cold. 

We only take one trip around here.

Just walking around in the rain. This day was sad because so many people canceled on lessons but that's okay we stay hype.

We went to this fun Mexican restaurant with our friend Gilly. I love Gilly. He is so fun and it feels so nice to talk to him and get to just laugh and have fun. He always takes care of us.

Got some fire soup from a member and that was so yum. Eating that with Christmas music on was lit.

That's pretty much all for this week. It was kinda just a meh week but it went by so fast. We had a ward party which was fun. The missionaries in the ward all had to sing a song and it was so awesome I'm sure. We found some new people and are teaching two sweet kids. Mission life is hard but so fun! The days are long but the change we see in our friends and even in myself is so worth it! I love you all!

Well, my bad I didn't write last week. I really didn't have much to report and had no pictures. I also was sick on Monday so I was not feeling it hahah.  This is all I have to report from last week. Had an awesome lunch with a member Sister Champagne. It was so fun and delicious. We also filmed for our social media page and then got Chic-fil-a! Then we also got Zaxby's Chicken Bacon Ranch Loaded Fries. That was spectacular! I had been talking about it my whole mish and so finally having it was wonderful. So thankful for Lucie introducing that one to me. Wow pretty much looks like all we do here is eat. Lastly, we played some fun games on p-day. But that night I started to really feel like I was getting real sick.  So this was me Tuesday at the end of the day. I was perishing. Probably my hardest day so far. We're back

Okay it's been a while since I've written one of these. My bad. Lots has happened tho! We had zone conference and got a new mission president!! Oh my I love them so much. They are an answer to all of my prayers with the revelation they have for this mission already. They are SO FUN!!! We had a meet and greet with them and it was awesome. They are young and so cool. So that's pretty exciting. Zone conference was good. We said bye to the Chibota's which was sad. We will miss them too!  Lowkey these past weeks have been pretty hard but I've learned to rely on Heavenly Father more than I ever have. I had only Him to pray and talk to and sometimes I would just sit there with Him and I could feel that I was loved. Some days I didn't know how I could get through the long day but I prayed in my head and I know He gives us strength. I also appreciate every one of you who sends prayers to missionaries. Exchanges!!

This week was pretty good. We had 5 of our Haitian friends come to church!! They drove 40 minutes to get there!! We put 2 people on baptismal date and we had a lot of good lessons. We have been finding a lot and that has been helpful! Our new mission president is changing a lot of things and it is so good! We now can use our apartment gyms and we are all going on a 3 week social media fast. This next week is transfers and I'm so scared haha. I am curious to see what he will do and if he switches things up.  We had exchanges this week and I got to see my best friend Sister Ady!! ❤️👯🏼‍♀️ Yayayayay!! I love her and it brought me so much joy. I am so lucky with the friends God has blessed me with from serving a mission. I've met some lifelong friends. Sister Ady is leaving so it was our last exchange ever. Next time we are together we will be partying it up in good ole Utah.
