Good times and meh times
What's up friends! I don't even know what to talk about this week hahah. So we will see how this goes.
For pday we had some fun and went to B-dubs which was so yum. Played lots of volleyball and spikeball which is the usual for pday. Then we got frozen yogurt which was SO gas. For some reason this day my mind was so tired haha. Everything was bothering me but luckily I could talk to my fam so that was good.
We did lots of service this week. On Tuesday we did service for Sister Fulkerson. She is making a quilt so we went over twice this week and helped her. We also just talked a lot with her which is always so nice because she served a mission so she gets it. Brother Fulkerson also got us sandwiches 🙏 On Thursday we did our weekly service of making boxes for a food pantry. Been taking little naps sometimes during lunch and those are FIRE.
ALSO BIG NEWS! We put 3 people on date this week to be baptized!! One was our friend Shawn who came to church last week and she is so awesome! She was so happy we invited her to be baptized and is so excited! Then we put our friend Liam on date again so hopefully this time it works out. That kid is so funny and everything we meet with him he makes our day. He is my bestie.
On Saturday we put our new friend Peggy on date. We met her this week because we were trying to visit a referral and went down the wrong turn. We saw her outside so we invited her to church. She recognized our tags and said she talked to missionaries before and used to go to church in Ohio. She was interested in meeting and coming back to church. We had a lesson with her on Saturday and I felt the prompting to put her on date that lesson so we did! And she is so excited!! She came to church on Sunday and got so involved with the ward so that is so awesome! Such a miracle.
The Fulkerson's (they are the best) had us over for dinner and then we had youth night. And later that night I started to learn how to solve a rubix cube so that is awesome.
On Friday we drove over 100 miles we think. We went to the very bottom of our area and made it to the ocean haha. So we took some pictures there. We got burgers at Sam's Super Burger and that place fills us with joy. We talked to a lady who is interested so we will see where that goes. We took some pictures at the ocean too of courseee. It was a long day with LOTS of driving.
Anyways that's all for this week. I've run out of time to write this so if that was all over the place I'm so sorry. This whole week was tho tbh so. Here's a quote I read recently, "God is real. He lives. He loves you. He knows you. He understands you. He knows the silent pleadings of your heart. He has not abandoned you. He will not forsake you." This is so powerful. It is such a good reminder of how much God is there for you. I love you all and I'm also here for ya'll. If I haven't answered your email I will do that next week! I love you all!!
