I love Shawn!!

Hey y'all!! Another week down and it was so busy! We were planning Shawn's baptism which was so stressful! On Tuesday we went on exchanges and I went with Sister Zaleski! She is so sweet! We had a lot of fun and she helped me so much! And then on Wednesday we drove up to Montgomery for Zone Conference. We had the opportunity to study the gospel of John and 3 Nephi 11-28 for that and it was amazing! I encourage all of you to read those because it is so powerful to read about the Savior. It was so cool because everyone got something different from it that was relevant to their lives!!

I saw my Grandma (my trainers trainer) Sister Murray at church on Sunday and that was so fun!!
Got to see my bestie Sister Ady at ZC!! I love her!

I messaged 54 people in like 30 minutes to invite them to church which our daily goal is 50 people every day so that was fire hahaha


Highlight of the week:


Shawn got baptized! It was so special!! The spirit was so strong and her family was there and they were so emotional. It was precious! You could see the glow after! She is so awesome and it was amazing to meet her family and get to know them even more. We may have had the water a little too hot but she powered through haha. Also Sister Hunt got to call in which was so sweet. Shawn really is such an example to me. She has been a blessing to me as I have served. She put in a request to meet with us because she wanted to grow her faith and I have seen that through her. She has been so strong and had so many challenges happen before she was baptized but she stuck with it. She says we are a blessing in her life but really she was more a blessing to me! Every hard day when I went to her house for a lesson I always felt the spirit and she showed so much love to us. Anyways I just love her and am so proud of her for following Jesus Christ's example. Her husband even came to church on Sunday!!

We got Wendy's to celebrate! Did y'all know they have thin mint girl scout frosty's?? They are gas. Try em!!

Then we did some service for the Esquedas after and that was so fun!! I love service so much. Reach out to missionaries for service! We really love it!

This week was crazy but so fun!! We found some really cool people and me and Sister Chidester are the same person lol. We are having a lot of fun! We found a guy named Pual and he had gone to our church activities before and is so excited to learn more. It was so cool to see that missionaries and members had planted seeds but they had no idea that 20 years later he would be talking to missionaries. God's timing is amazing!! We found lots and had some really good contacts with people. I feel like a lot of this email was all over the place so sorry about that.

I just loved as I studied John that Jesus spent time with the one always. Even when He had places He should be He focused on who was in front of Him and needed Him. I have tried to think of people as Christ did and focus on the one in front of me. I have seen myself have more charity and been able to care more for them. I am so thankful Jesus Christ was our example in all things! He loves you and He lives!!! I love y'all so much!!

Well, my bad I didn't write last week. I really didn't have much to report and had no pictures. I also was sick on Monday so I was not feeling it hahah.  This is all I have to report from last week. Had an awesome lunch with a member Sister Champagne. It was so fun and delicious. We also filmed for our social media page and then got Chic-fil-a! Then we also got Zaxby's Chicken Bacon Ranch Loaded Fries. That was spectacular! I had been talking about it my whole mish and so finally having it was wonderful. So thankful for Lucie introducing that one to me. Wow pretty much looks like all we do here is eat. Lastly, we played some fun games on p-day. But that night I started to really feel like I was getting real sick.  So this was me Tuesday at the end of the day. I was perishing. Probably my hardest day so far. We're back

Okay it's been a while since I've written one of these. My bad. Lots has happened tho! We had zone conference and got a new mission president!! Oh my I love them so much. They are an answer to all of my prayers with the revelation they have for this mission already. They are SO FUN!!! We had a meet and greet with them and it was awesome. They are young and so cool. So that's pretty exciting. Zone conference was good. We said bye to the Chibota's which was sad. We will miss them too!  Lowkey these past weeks have been pretty hard but I've learned to rely on Heavenly Father more than I ever have. I had only Him to pray and talk to and sometimes I would just sit there with Him and I could feel that I was loved. Some days I didn't know how I could get through the long day but I prayed in my head and I know He gives us strength. I also appreciate every one of you who sends prayers to missionaries. Exchanges!!

This week was pretty good. We had 5 of our Haitian friends come to church!! They drove 40 minutes to get there!! We put 2 people on baptismal date and we had a lot of good lessons. We have been finding a lot and that has been helpful! Our new mission president is changing a lot of things and it is so good! We now can use our apartment gyms and we are all going on a 3 week social media fast. This next week is transfers and I'm so scared haha. I am curious to see what he will do and if he switches things up.  We had exchanges this week and I got to see my best friend Sister Ady!! ❤️👯🏼‍♀️ Yayayayay!! I love her and it brought me so much joy. I am so lucky with the friends God has blessed me with from serving a mission. I've met some lifelong friends. Sister Ady is leaving so it was our last exchange ever. Next time we are together we will be partying it up in good ole Utah.
