Mission life is weird.

Yo whatup. Sorry I've been slacking on this thing. And also responding to emails. For this week I'll just hope this can count as a response to most of y'all and next week I will try to answer. I love reading your emails tho so just know I read every one! I love y'all.

Mood pretty much every other day lol.

 
Last week I learned how to play magic the gathering which apparently is very popluar. Never heard of it but it was kinda awesome and I won twice so thats awesome.


We have been making a t-shirt quilt with one of my favorite members ever Sister Fulkerson. We are making it for Sister Hubbard who's husband passed away. It is so cool. None of us have made quilts before so it's so fun!


Got Panda with Gilly. We LOVE Gilly!!! He's so awesome and he's coming to church consistently woohooo!


Cute Whitney gave me a diamond art painting and she is so precious I love her.



Our friend Delene got baptized! If y'all don't remember she was a person we would see and help a lot but then she moved like 30 minutes away in Mississippi so we weren't able to go to her baptism in person. But it was so special we are so happy for her!!



Now onto this week. 
Started Sunday off rough lol.
We started off with pretty much nobody coming to church and then had a meeting that was rough. Not a fun time. It was so frustrating and I was not feeling it. But yanno we ball. We had a lesson with Liam so that always helps the mood. 



This week the weather was SO nice so that helped bring vibes up fs. We were feeling very nostalgic and missed spring and summer at home but we made the best of it and would have our windows down all day. We found lots of joy through that and music.



We met an awesome guy named Brother Miller who had never been visited before and this week he took us and the Elders to a cool restaurant called Felix's Fish Camp. We've been trying to find all the people who have never been visited and the people we have met have been so cool!


Had a fun little call with the sisters and I love the missionaries I am able to serve around. Really think I have the best stls there is. 


This is Gloria. She is awesome! She was a little miracle for this day because she made us smile so much. She is so cute and is such a kind lady. She always wants us to give her Book of Mormons so she can share it with people she ministers too for her church. She's lit.



We had a little picnic at Foosackleys and it was so much fun. This week we had to find things to do that brought us joy. So we had a little food and read some scriptures. Then we met this guy named Landon. He came up to us and said there was something different about us and he just needed to talk to us. We talked and we said a prayer for him. Then unexpectedly on Saturday he called us and we talked more. He's so cool!!



My Queens 🙏 I truly am so blessed with the missionaries I get to serve around.


We get to go to this cool spooky hospital lots. We've been giving our friend Shawn priesthood blessings (well the elders lol) and it has been SO cool. She got double pneumonia and has been in the hospital for a while. Getting blessings has helped her so much. She is on date to be baptized and she felt the spirit so strongly so it was so cool to see and feel that. Shawn is my favorite ever. Truly one of the biggest reasons of why I am still in Theodore.


Well that's all for this week. Day to day was hard this week. We struggled on finding anyone and having lessons. So that makes the days hard but then the week passes and you forget how long your day was lol. I love you all!!!

Well, my bad I didn't write last week. I really didn't have much to report and had no pictures. I also was sick on Monday so I was not feeling it hahah.  This is all I have to report from last week. Had an awesome lunch with a member Sister Champagne. It was so fun and delicious. We also filmed for our social media page and then got Chic-fil-a! Then we also got Zaxby's Chicken Bacon Ranch Loaded Fries. That was spectacular! I had been talking about it my whole mish and so finally having it was wonderful. So thankful for Lucie introducing that one to me. Wow pretty much looks like all we do here is eat. Lastly, we played some fun games on p-day. But that night I started to really feel like I was getting real sick.  So this was me Tuesday at the end of the day. I was perishing. Probably my hardest day so far. We're back

Okay it's been a while since I've written one of these. My bad. Lots has happened tho! We had zone conference and got a new mission president!! Oh my I love them so much. They are an answer to all of my prayers with the revelation they have for this mission already. They are SO FUN!!! We had a meet and greet with them and it was awesome. They are young and so cool. So that's pretty exciting. Zone conference was good. We said bye to the Chibota's which was sad. We will miss them too!  Lowkey these past weeks have been pretty hard but I've learned to rely on Heavenly Father more than I ever have. I had only Him to pray and talk to and sometimes I would just sit there with Him and I could feel that I was loved. Some days I didn't know how I could get through the long day but I prayed in my head and I know He gives us strength. I also appreciate every one of you who sends prayers to missionaries. Exchanges!!

This week was pretty good. We had 5 of our Haitian friends come to church!! They drove 40 minutes to get there!! We put 2 people on baptismal date and we had a lot of good lessons. We have been finding a lot and that has been helpful! Our new mission president is changing a lot of things and it is so good! We now can use our apartment gyms and we are all going on a 3 week social media fast. This next week is transfers and I'm so scared haha. I am curious to see what he will do and if he switches things up.  We had exchanges this week and I got to see my best friend Sister Ady!! ❤️👯🏼‍♀️ Yayayayay!! I love her and it brought me so much joy. I am so lucky with the friends God has blessed me with from serving a mission. I've met some lifelong friends. Sister Ady is leaving so it was our last exchange ever. Next time we are together we will be partying it up in good ole Utah.
