Pre transfer week is scarrryyyy

Hey guyssss, been a while. I wrote some of my last blog but never finished it til today. So my bad. But life is lit in Theodore. It was Mardi Gras here is Mobile. For those who may not know there is a big Mardi Gras in Louisiana but it actually started here in Mobile. So people have warned us that you do not tell the locals that you thought it started in Louisiana lol. They will go off. But I still don't really get the point of it but we went to a parade so that was awesome. Me and Elder Ostler had a competition of who could get the most beads. We got lots haha and they mostly throw beads and moon pies. Again idk why moon pies are significant lol. But by the end they will just throw whole packages of beads to get rid of them. And they all love to chuck things right at your head hahah. I loved it tho it was so fun. And thankfully we were at a family friendly one.



Pretty much Mardi Gras is awesome!!!


We've been contacting a lot outside and getting some sun which has been fun. We normally go to parks or gas stations and just try and talk to everyone we see. We have also been making Caesar chopped salads with chicken nuggets and that is gas.

We got to go to dinner with our friend Gilly one last time and we taught Shawn. She is out of the hospital which is so so exciting. She is excited for her baptism and is just the sweetest lady. I love her so much. 

We dropped our friend Liam off of date because he hasn't been able to make it to church which is sad. But hopefully one day. We finally had a little bit more success compared to last week which was good. We found some cool people and have taught them. It's been good but the week before transfers my brain just gets stressed and I feel 🙃. We were also really tired this week and that didn't help hahah. But this week will be crazy and we will see what happens. Cause change is probably coming!! Scared. It's scary cause God already knows what is next but I'm just anticipating and waiting. 

But that's what is awesome and what I am trying to remember is that God already knows! He already has a plan for me and is ready. He knows all of our lives and what is next. "I know my sheep, and they are numbered". We just have to learn every day how to have more trust and faith in him! I love you all so much! Have a good week!

Well, my bad I didn't write last week. I really didn't have much to report and had no pictures. I also was sick on Monday so I was not feeling it hahah.  This is all I have to report from last week. Had an awesome lunch with a member Sister Champagne. It was so fun and delicious. We also filmed for our social media page and then got Chic-fil-a! Then we also got Zaxby's Chicken Bacon Ranch Loaded Fries. That was spectacular! I had been talking about it my whole mish and so finally having it was wonderful. So thankful for Lucie introducing that one to me. Wow pretty much looks like all we do here is eat. Lastly, we played some fun games on p-day. But that night I started to really feel like I was getting real sick.  So this was me Tuesday at the end of the day. I was perishing. Probably my hardest day so far. We're back

Okay it's been a while since I've written one of these. My bad. Lots has happened tho! We had zone conference and got a new mission president!! Oh my I love them so much. They are an answer to all of my prayers with the revelation they have for this mission already. They are SO FUN!!! We had a meet and greet with them and it was awesome. They are young and so cool. So that's pretty exciting. Zone conference was good. We said bye to the Chibota's which was sad. We will miss them too!  Lowkey these past weeks have been pretty hard but I've learned to rely on Heavenly Father more than I ever have. I had only Him to pray and talk to and sometimes I would just sit there with Him and I could feel that I was loved. Some days I didn't know how I could get through the long day but I prayed in my head and I know He gives us strength. I also appreciate every one of you who sends prayers to missionaries. Exchanges!!

This week was pretty good. We had 5 of our Haitian friends come to church!! They drove 40 minutes to get there!! We put 2 people on baptismal date and we had a lot of good lessons. We have been finding a lot and that has been helpful! Our new mission president is changing a lot of things and it is so good! We now can use our apartment gyms and we are all going on a 3 week social media fast. This next week is transfers and I'm so scared haha. I am curious to see what he will do and if he switches things up.  We had exchanges this week and I got to see my best friend Sister Ady!! ❤️👯🏼‍♀️ Yayayayay!! I love her and it brought me so much joy. I am so lucky with the friends God has blessed me with from serving a mission. I've met some lifelong friends. Sister Ady is leaving so it was our last exchange ever. Next time we are together we will be partying it up in good ole Utah.
