Fun times

Hey y'all. Another week and month down. Crazy that it's already June!!! This week we had to say goodbye to one of our favorite families The Pack's. They are literally the best. They would feed us all the time and just were like a second family here. We all got to have dinner at a members house though and she also made all of the missionaries their favorite food and treat for celebrating birthdays. It was so much work for her and so thoughtful.

A member also has us over for dinner sometimes and she gave me a Dr pepper with lime and creamer in it. I had literally talked to my brother about there being no soda shops here on Monday and she then gave me it. #blessed 🙏


Turns out fog here is just water lol. It was so humid one morning. But thankfully the weather this week has been SO nice!! It hasn't been too humid in the day and there have been some nice storms to cool it off. There's also nothing like thunderstorms here!!

This next week is transfers which is crazyyy. I have no idea what will happen so stay tuned!!

We walked and got Italian ice and that was sooo yum. Our apartments are close to a lot of things so we just walk to get a little treat

We learned how to tie ties and we are pretty much pros now. 



This week we also had a lot of our Haitian friends move to Georgia so that was sad. But a guy named Vilcius came to church even tho we haven't taught him in weeks which is awesome!! And we had our friend Peter come for a 3rd time!!! We also had last interviews with President as we get a new one next month! Crazy!! Idk what else to update on hahah things are good and hard. We taught a Haitian named Ange and when we think we are learning Creole they talk to us and we realize wow haha we don't know what they are saying lol.

Well, my bad I didn't write last week. I really didn't have much to report and had no pictures. I also was sick on Monday so I was not feeling it hahah.  This is all I have to report from last week. Had an awesome lunch with a member Sister Champagne. It was so fun and delicious. We also filmed for our social media page and then got Chic-fil-a! Then we also got Zaxby's Chicken Bacon Ranch Loaded Fries. That was spectacular! I had been talking about it my whole mish and so finally having it was wonderful. So thankful for Lucie introducing that one to me. Wow pretty much looks like all we do here is eat. Lastly, we played some fun games on p-day. But that night I started to really feel like I was getting real sick.  So this was me Tuesday at the end of the day. I was perishing. Probably my hardest day so far. We're back

Okay it's been a while since I've written one of these. My bad. Lots has happened tho! We had zone conference and got a new mission president!! Oh my I love them so much. They are an answer to all of my prayers with the revelation they have for this mission already. They are SO FUN!!! We had a meet and greet with them and it was awesome. They are young and so cool. So that's pretty exciting. Zone conference was good. We said bye to the Chibota's which was sad. We will miss them too!  Lowkey these past weeks have been pretty hard but I've learned to rely on Heavenly Father more than I ever have. I had only Him to pray and talk to and sometimes I would just sit there with Him and I could feel that I was loved. Some days I didn't know how I could get through the long day but I prayed in my head and I know He gives us strength. I also appreciate every one of you who sends prayers to missionaries. Exchanges!!

This week was pretty good. We had 5 of our Haitian friends come to church!! They drove 40 minutes to get there!! We put 2 people on baptismal date and we had a lot of good lessons. We have been finding a lot and that has been helpful! Our new mission president is changing a lot of things and it is so good! We now can use our apartment gyms and we are all going on a 3 week social media fast. This next week is transfers and I'm so scared haha. I am curious to see what he will do and if he switches things up.  We had exchanges this week and I got to see my best friend Sister Ady!! ❤️👯🏼‍♀️ Yayayayay!! I love her and it brought me so much joy. I am so lucky with the friends God has blessed me with from serving a mission. I've met some lifelong friends. Sister Ady is leaving so it was our last exchange ever. Next time we are together we will be partying it up in good ole Utah.
