Transfers! #6

Hi y'all! Okay I wrote this whole thing already and it deleted so we will see how much I write again lol. This week was transfers and I got a new companion named Sister Johnson. It was sad to have Sister McComas leave. We had just gotten comfortable hahah. 

This week we had 4 people come to church!! One was our friend Sam who is going to be baptized next month. He got a car so he can come now! Then we had Peter who came for the 4th time. And we had two Haitian Croele friends come!! Low-key stressfull cause I don't know how to speak well. Bit a successful Sunday overall!! 

We met lots of cool people this week and knocked some doors. I haven't knocked doors in a while but I had a prompting to and we met a cool lady who wants to learn and come to church!

I also got a SM calling so I'll be able to be trained by my friend who's with Sister Hubt right now so that's fun!! 

We had some pie the last night before transfers and it was fun! Also learned how to tie a tie this week!

We make sleeping mats for the homeless every Tuesday and Thursday and this was the squad. It was so fun and Tabitha in the middle is funnyyy.

Then we had transfers. Elder Rodriguez and Sister McComas left. We honestly were not expecting it at all since we just got reassigned. But transfer meeting was the best because I got to see my best friends!!

SISTER HUNT!!!!! Oh my it was so good to see her! She is now training so I have a sister. Ugh she is the best! 

I've felt so thankful lately that God has given me the opportunities to make so many lifelong friends!! It really is all His plan and I've tried to remember that this week especially. This week was hard. A lot of things have been changing and happening and it's easy to get overwhelmed. I have learned though that God does know us. He listens to our prayers. And He is there for you even when life feels heavy and you feel you are alone. I love hearing from y'all and it truly makes my day! 

"Now when our hearts were depressed, and we were about to turn back, behold, the Lord comforted us, and said... bear with patience thine afflictions, and I will give unto you success."
"And whoso receiveth you, there I will be also, for I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up."

These scriptures have given me a lot of comfort! I know that God will help us and he sends angels to be with you in your hard times. I have felt prayers and strength lately. I know God wants us to be happy and His Son gives us lasting joy!! I love you all!!! Have a good week!

Well, my bad I didn't write last week. I really didn't have much to report and had no pictures. I also was sick on Monday so I was not feeling it hahah.  This is all I have to report from last week. Had an awesome lunch with a member Sister Champagne. It was so fun and delicious. We also filmed for our social media page and then got Chic-fil-a! Then we also got Zaxby's Chicken Bacon Ranch Loaded Fries. That was spectacular! I had been talking about it my whole mish and so finally having it was wonderful. So thankful for Lucie introducing that one to me. Wow pretty much looks like all we do here is eat. Lastly, we played some fun games on p-day. But that night I started to really feel like I was getting real sick.  So this was me Tuesday at the end of the day. I was perishing. Probably my hardest day so far. We're back

Okay it's been a while since I've written one of these. My bad. Lots has happened tho! We had zone conference and got a new mission president!! Oh my I love them so much. They are an answer to all of my prayers with the revelation they have for this mission already. They are SO FUN!!! We had a meet and greet with them and it was awesome. They are young and so cool. So that's pretty exciting. Zone conference was good. We said bye to the Chibota's which was sad. We will miss them too!  Lowkey these past weeks have been pretty hard but I've learned to rely on Heavenly Father more than I ever have. I had only Him to pray and talk to and sometimes I would just sit there with Him and I could feel that I was loved. Some days I didn't know how I could get through the long day but I prayed in my head and I know He gives us strength. I also appreciate every one of you who sends prayers to missionaries. Exchanges!!

This week was pretty good. We had 5 of our Haitian friends come to church!! They drove 40 minutes to get there!! We put 2 people on baptismal date and we had a lot of good lessons. We have been finding a lot and that has been helpful! Our new mission president is changing a lot of things and it is so good! We now can use our apartment gyms and we are all going on a 3 week social media fast. This next week is transfers and I'm so scared haha. I am curious to see what he will do and if he switches things up.  We had exchanges this week and I got to see my best friend Sister Ady!! ❤️👯🏼‍♀️ Yayayayay!! I love her and it brought me so much joy. I am so lucky with the friends God has blessed me with from serving a mission. I've met some lifelong friends. Sister Ady is leaving so it was our last exchange ever. Next time we are together we will be partying it up in good ole Utah.
