What's up everyone! We named our car Jerome and we love our car. Gives us some nice ac moments in the hot days. Hope all is well with y'all. This week we taught our friend Alexander who came to church last Sunday. He started reading the Book of Mormon right after we met. He is really cool and so kind. He has a desire to learn and actually is progressing yay!! We also put our new friend Nathan on date for baptism in September. He lowkey ghosted us but he will hopefully answer this week. It was a first lesson and he said he wasn't going to answer the door when we first met him and knocked on his door but then he felt like he should. He felt like it was right! So that was cool to hear!

We see so many tender mercies from God even when the days are long and hot haha. He really is there for us through every trial we go through. We share so many scriptures with people and it is amazing to testify of Jesus Christ every single day. 

My friend Tom. Sister Hunt makes up nicknames and somehow we became Tom and Jerry. We have a good time fr. It's so fun to share an apartment. We come home and just mess around with the sisters. Brings us joy. We also get to rant after long days hahah.

Went to Hobby Lobby on Monday. That was fun. We then made BFF bracelets for the district. Our elders in the district are so patient with us and wear their bracelets every day. 

13 And it came to pass that the voice of the Lord came to them in their afflictions, saying: Lift up your heads and be of good comfort, for I know of the covenant which ye have made unto me; and I will covenant with my people and deliver them out of bondage. 
14 And I will also ease the burdens which are put upon your shoulders, that even you cannot feel them upon your backs, even while you are in bondage; and this will I do that ye may stand as witnesses for me hereafter, and that ye may know of a surety that I, the Lord God, do visit my people in their afflictions.

This was a scripture I shared frequently to people we talked to. It is so true tho that God knows us. He knows the burdens we have but he can strengthen us and help us. He visits us in our afflictions. I have seen that the hardest times are the times I have grown closer to Jesus Christ. I love you all and thank you for your support. Well, my bad I didn't write last week. I really didn't have much to report and had no pictures. I also was sick on Monday so I was not feeling it hahah.  This is all I have to report from last week. Had an awesome lunch with a member Sister Champagne. It was so fun and delicious. We also filmed for our social media page and then got Chic-fil-a! Then we also got Zaxby's Chicken Bacon Ranch Loaded Fries. That was spectacular! I had been talking about it my whole mish and so finally having it was wonderful. So thankful for Lucie introducing that one to me. Wow pretty much looks like all we do here is eat. Lastly, we played some fun games on p-day. But that night I started to really feel like I was getting real sick.  So this was me Tuesday at the end of the day. I was perishing. Probably my hardest day so far. We're back

Okay it's been a while since I've written one of these. My bad. Lots has happened tho! We had zone conference and got a new mission president!! Oh my I love them so much. They are an answer to all of my prayers with the revelation they have for this mission already. They are SO FUN!!! We had a meet and greet with them and it was awesome. They are young and so cool. So that's pretty exciting. Zone conference was good. We said bye to the Chibota's which was sad. We will miss them too!  Lowkey these past weeks have been pretty hard but I've learned to rely on Heavenly Father more than I ever have. I had only Him to pray and talk to and sometimes I would just sit there with Him and I could feel that I was loved. Some days I didn't know how I could get through the long day but I prayed in my head and I know He gives us strength. I also appreciate every one of you who sends prayers to missionaries. Exchanges!!

This week was pretty good. We had 5 of our Haitian friends come to church!! They drove 40 minutes to get there!! We put 2 people on baptismal date and we had a lot of good lessons. We have been finding a lot and that has been helpful! Our new mission president is changing a lot of things and it is so good! We now can use our apartment gyms and we are all going on a 3 week social media fast. This next week is transfers and I'm so scared haha. I am curious to see what he will do and if he switches things up.  We had exchanges this week and I got to see my best friend Sister Ady!! ❤️👯🏼‍♀️ Yayayayay!! I love her and it brought me so much joy. I am so lucky with the friends God has blessed me with from serving a mission. I've met some lifelong friends. Sister Ady is leaving so it was our last exchange ever. Next time we are together we will be partying it up in good ole Utah.
